Conveniently located to serve Ormond Beach
Restylane helps Ormond Beach patients reduce moderate to severe wrinkles and folds in the midface. This FDA-approved filler is employed to restore an appearance of youthfulness to the face.
Restylane can fill the nasolabial folds (deep creases stretching from the corners of the nose to the sides of the mouth), marionette lines (lines stretching down from the sides of the mouth), and parentheses lines (wrinkles bordering the mouth). It can also address perioral lip lines and hollow facial depressions.
How Does Restylane Work?
Restylane is composed of synthetic hyaluronic acid (HA) meant to replicate the natural hyaluronic acid found in the body. When injections of Restylane are delivered into the skin, its synthetic HA bonds with water molecules to increase skin volume.
Restylane comes in the form of a clear gel. Because Restylane doesn’t contain animal proteins, it’s safe to use without worrying about allergic reactions or rejection by the body.
Am I a Candidate for Restylane Treatment?
Patients who want to achieve a more youthful appearance by reducing the appearance of wrinkles and depressions can benefit from receiving Restylane injections. Restylane can also be added to the lips to enhance their appearance. Additionally, it can be injected into the backs of the hands to restore youthful volume.
People who have lost underlying facial fat or bone mass due to the natural aging process may benefit from Restylane. This filler is exclusively for use by patients over the age of 21. Restylane is best for patients with reasonable expectations.
Your Restylane Treatment Session
Board-certified Physician Assistant Bridget Kelly will administer your Restylane injections. First, the areas will be cleaned. Next, injection sites may be marked as a guide. Bridget will then deliver the injections will precision and care. Because Restylane contains a local anesthetic, the areas will be numbed against any pain.
Is There Any Downtime After Restylane Treatment?
Restylane does not require any downtime or recovery time. This makes the treatment incredibly simple and convenient. Patients can go right back to their daily tasks after a session.
Restylane may cause minor side effects at the injection sites, including redness, rash, bruising, swelling, bleeding, pain, lump formation, and itching. Within 7 to 14 days, the majority of these issues will have disappeared.
When Will I See Results After Restylane Treatment?
The results of Restylane are nearly instantaneous and can last for up to eighteen months. It is best to wait at least two weeks after your treatment session to assess whether or not Restylane has produced your desired results.
After Restylane has been administered, the body will gradually and safely absorb it back into its system. The rate of absorption differs from patient to patient based on the overall health of the body. The product breaks down more quickly in injection areas such as the lips and hands, since these are often in motion. After this, patients can return for maintenance treatments.
How Much Does Restylane Cost?
Your Restylane treatment could cost more or less depending on a variety of factors. Factors that can impact price include the number of areas that need to be treated and the number of syringes that are utilized.
