When you lose a significant amount of weight or have a baby you might not realize that your skin could have trouble bouncing back to its firm, fitted state. Many women and men end up with loose skin and areas of fat that interfere with the healthy image they have for themselves after getting in shape. Dr. Ashley K. Lentz is a board-certified plastic surgeon in Ormond Beach, offering body contouring procedures to correct most every concern.

Dr. Lentz will perform your Body Procedures surgery at Advent Health Daytona Beach or Halifax Health Hospital - Port Orange.

Every surgery carries the risk of a complication, including elective cosmetic surgery. Complications are rare, but they do occur. CosmetAssure provides you with insurance coverage in the unlikely event a complication occurs with a board certified plastic surgeon. CosmetAssure is a solution to the lack of coverage for medical complications that can occur during or after your surgery.

Your Options

Dr. Ashley K. Lentz performs the following procedures to give the patients the the firm body contours they desire after weight loss and childbirth:

  • Tummy tucks (abdominoplasty) can help you have a flat, firm abdomen when exercise and diet don’t help.
  • Liposuction removes isolated areas of stubborn fat to give you firm, sculpted curves.
  • Body lifting surgery can tighten the arms, thighs, and buttocks by correcting loose, stretched skin.
  • Mommy Makeover helps mothers to get back their pre-pregnancy bodies by combining procedures and reducing recovery time.
  • Coolsculpting is a non-invasive, clinically proven procedure to selectively reduce fat layers in problem areas using a patented cooling technology.
  • Buttock Lift helps restore a toned look to the buttocks.

"Communication is the most critical aspect of patient care. Results must match expectations. Without excellent communication, expectations cannot be matched. I spend a lot of time with my patients trying to determine what is the best operation for personal success and achievement of patient goals. "

These procedures can be combined to provide a more complete body makeover. Many women and men combine body contouring surgery with facial sculpting and breast enhancement surgery as well. To get started, request a consultation online with Dr. Ashley K. Lentz or call the office at 386.252.8051.

Dr. Ashley Lentz grew up in the Daytona Beach Area. Her great grandfather, Laurence Thompson, was among the community’s first residents, serving as a merchant and city official. He built the first home on the Peninsula, which still stands today, called “Lillian Place”. Dr. Lentz’s family still lives in the Daytona Beach and Ormond Beach Area, serving as an active community member.

She attended Medical School at the University of Florida. She loved being a Gator Fan and continued General Surgery and Plastic Surgery Residency training in Gainesville, Florida. Dr. Lentz won the prestigious “Intern of the Year” award and the Chief Resident “Teacher of the Year” award. After Plastic Surgery training, Dr. Lentz completed Pediatric Plastic Surgery Fellowship in Chicago with Dr. Bruce Bauer where she learned the art of complex Pediatric Plastic Surgery reconstruction.

After nine years of surgical training, she returned to University of Florida to practice and teach surgery to surgery residents. During her years of faculty, she received multiple outstanding teaching awards for the instruction of medical students and surgical residents. She was the Co-director of the University of Florida Craniofacial Clinic and treated children with cleft lip and palate deformities. It was during her time at University of Florida that she continued the tradition of her mentor, Dr. Brent Seagle, by leading a cleft lip and palate mission trip to San Pedro Sula, Honduras twice a year with the Interplast South Team. She has continued to lead this trip each year and take a team of health care providers to Honduras in order to care for those who are not able to afford cleft lip and palate surgery.

In 2016, Dr. Lentz wanted to focus on her family life and return home to join her father in private practice. Dr. Carl W Lentz built a strong tradition of exceptional care in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He was born and raised in Daytona Beach and dedicated his career to taking care of patients in North Central Florida. Dr. Ashley Lentz continues the family tradition and performs both cosmetic and reconstructive surgery. She loves the diversity of her cases and patients of all ages. Most of all, she loves the ability to spend time with her extended family and raise her own children down the road from where she grew up.
